Mountain Leader Refresher Weekend 📍 Location: Langdale, Lake District 📅 Dates: Sat 29th & Sun 30th March Prepare for the upcoming season with a comprehensive two-day refresher designed for women & typically underrepresented folks in the outdoors. Whether it's been a while since your training or you'd like to refine and refresh your skills. Lots of folks want to look at security on steep ground & rope work and navigation and poor visibility navigation. This weekend is tailored to boost your confidence and capabilities. Day 1: Ropework & Steep ground - Hands-on practice with essential ropework skills. - Techniques for managing groups effectively and safely in the mountains. - Time to address any specific areas you'd like to focus on. Day 2: Navigation Mastery - Develop your navigation skills using 1:25,000, 1:50,000, and 1:40,000 Harvey's maps. - Gain confidence interpreting maps and navigating challenging terrain. - Plenty of time for questions, troubleshooting, and processing all the Mountain Leader knowledge.
